How to turn photos into sketches

One challenge we often face with corporate clients is how to make the ‘Team’ page different from the many other corporate sites that tend to list employees with a corporate photo and short description of their role. We want to avoid the ‘whacky’ approach of adding a ‘quirky fact’ about each employee which is also overdone.

One idea that we think adds a bit of character and a friendly feel to the ‘Team’ page, but maintains the professional style, is to use sketches of employees as opposed to photos. 

Luckily this doesn’t have to involve commissioning an artist, as the ‘sketch’ can be created from a photo using photoshop. We found this useful tutorial showing how it’s done…
