We created a fresh and vibrant new website to showcase CLS’ cosmopolitan and forward-thinking educational approach.
City of London School is a leading boys’ school with an enviable location in the heart of the City of London. It is defined by its iconic location, a wonderfully diverse pupil body, outstanding pastoral care, academic excellence and an exciting co-curriculum.
City of London approached us with a compelling challenge: to create a digital presence that effectively conveys their updated strategic vision and embodies their core values – Kind, Aware, Ready.

CLS’ commitment to academic excellence as well as to fostering a vibrant, diverse, and forward-thinking community provided the inspiration for our designs: we set out to create a site that felt modern, clean and refined, yet simultaneously friendly and approachable.
Our designers implemented a range of colour gradients to work in harmony with clean white spacing and crisp imagery, which combine harmoniously to convey a confident, sophisticated and welcoming look and feel.
These are supported by sophisticated animation and slick transitions, which add dynamism and movement to keep the user engaged and encourage them through continued strategic user journeys through the site.
The result is a website that embodies the aspirations of the school and invites visitors to experience the unique spirit of City of London School.
The organisation of the CMS is really smart and accessible for a range of experience levels. The development team at TWK is clearly highly skilled – the speed at which tweaks were made to elements of the site was impressive. Everyone at CLS is delighted with the website.
